ACC Rongoā Māori Conference 2024

The two-day conference aims to bring together rongoā Māori practitioners and health providers within te ao rongoā (the rongoā community) to whakawhanaunga (build relationships) and grow understanding of traditional Māori healing and its place in Aotearoa New Zealand’s health sector.

Registrations close on Monday 13 May at 5pm

Whakataukī

Ki te kotahi te kākaho ka whati, ki te kāpuia e kore e whati.

If a reed stands alone it will break, if a group of reeds stand together, they are unbreakable.

This talks about what happens when two reeds that stand in the pool of oranga (wellbeing), stand together. The reeds of practitioners and providers stand stronger.

It also begs the question, what happens if all strands in the pool of oranga stand together?
